On the first Wednesday of each month, from 6 - 10 pm, area musicians, poets and performance artists come together to perform their original compositions in a relaxed atmosphere at
TheGreat Machipongo Clam Shack at 6468 Lankford Hwy, Exmore, VA 23350
Hosted by Peg Volk, a local
singer/songwriter,
"First Wednesday" provides a great venue for
local performers, family, and friends to enjoy an informal night out.
Poets, performance artists, and musicians are encouraged to participate
and edify the receptive and gracious audience!
Although original works are preferred,
"not so original" pieces are also acceptable.
A very delicious and affordable $10 buffet
is offered until 8:00 p.m.
(and is free to all performers!)
Sign-up for performers is first come - first
served.
Time allotment will be decided by how many performers sign-up
